How Do I create a new product in Acumatica?

Creating a new product in Acumatica:

If the new product you are creating belongs to an existing brand and an existing product line, follow the below steps:

1. Create the SKU in LeafLink 
2. In the Stock Items screen, find a product that is already in Acumatica that belongs to the same product line
   1. If STIIIZY was adding a new 1G OG pod strain, I could choose any of the existing 1G OG pods
3. Click on the Inventory ID number for the product
   
4. Click on the clipboard icon and click “Copy”
   
5. Click on the “+” icon to create a blank sku
   
6. Click again on the clipboard icon and click “Paste”. This will paste in all of the values from the SKU you just copied.
   
   
   
7. Update the product name in the “Description” field to the name of the new SKU

1. Update the “Strain Code” in the general settings tab to the newly created SKU strain - note please select strain from list vs typing in via clicking the magnifying glass

1. Click on the “Cross Reference” tab - this is where you will paste in the SKU number of the product from LeafLink
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. To find the LeafLink SKU number, go to the Inventory page in LeafLink and locate your SKU. You will see a small “SKU” field. This is the SKU number that you will paste into the “Alternate ID” column in Acumatica
