      How do I log an activity?

      For sales reps to successful log in field activities, meetings, calls, and communications with retail partners

      Activity Logging
      • On company pages find the quick buttons to log your important activities
      • 3 focus activity logging types:
        - call
        - text / sms
        - meeting 
      • Call and meeting logs support options to log activity types
      • Sales team focus types:
        - brand pitch w/ samples
        - follow up on samples
        - new buyer
        - in store check-in
        - AR
        - Delivery Issues

      Activity Log Types

      Brand Pitch w/ Samples:

      • Buyers' feedback on the brand pitched 
      • What samples were dropped - the more detail the better 
      • Ride along would go here

      Follow-up on Sample Drop 

      • What did the buyer say about this product in their shop?
      • Is the buyer likely to bring it in?

      AR

      • Accounts receivable coordination / correspondence related - Utilized both by sales team and the red dragon

      In-store Check-In

      • Are Petalfast brands in stock? 
      • Are we priced correctly?
      • Is ghost demo collateral up? 
      • Not necessary a set appointment, but a survey of the 
      • What are the opportunities

      Delivery Problems

      • Nabis delivery issues, errors, delays, etc (Note: Please Associate / tag "Nabis" as a related company under the "Associations" dropdown in the activity log box)

       

      Call logging

      • Who was contacted via saved contacts
      • Outcome of call
      • Call type (focus activity)
      • Direction (inbound / outbound)

       

       

      Meeting logging

      • Who was contacted via saved contacts
      • Outcome of meeting
      • Meeting type (focus activity)
      • Date / time / duration

       

      Text logging

      • Who was contacted via saved contacts
      • Date / time

       

      Activity logging - Brand Associating / Tagging

      • Associate the related brand(s) to you call or meeting activity log
      • Located in the meeting or call activity log box, click the "Associated with X record" dropdown, select the "Companies" tab, type search the related brand desired and select the check box (Note: some brands may be displaying a company under the website url (e.g., www.woodstockproducts.com) in addition to the standard company name - selecting either is fine and logs will be merged)
